Main points for a safer and more enjoyable tour:
- 3 sets of comfortable clothing
- Plenty of socks ( to replace regularly )
- Mosquito repellent
- Sun block lotion ( according to skin sensitivity )
- Flip-flops to rest your feet at the end of the day
- Individual backpack/bag to carry your personal supplies ( ie: bottle of water, blanket or sleeping bag, small towel for personal hygiene , digital camera, extra batteries to replace…etc )
Important Information:
- To enjoy each tour to the fullest it is essential to remember that the tourist needs to be in a good healthy condition to be able to walk long distances daily through the jungle.
- Purified drinking water will be used exclusively for drinking , rain water will be used for the rest (i.e.: cooking, washing..)
- Food, drinking water tanks, cooking and camping equipment will be carried by mules and tour staff.
- The fact of observing any type of wild animal will be totally unpredictable therefore not subject to the guides and tour staff.
- Guides and tour staff will offer full experience and security throughout the journey but good cooperation will be expected by all members of the group.
- Depending of the weather conditions camping might be set by improvisation whenever the tour staff think it convenient.
- Vegetarian tourists to remember that fresh fruit and vegetables might no be always an option due to their quick expiry date so bear in mind that regular options will be dry foods such as rice, pasta, black beans, tinned sauce ..etc
- Bear in mind that water for personal hygiene throughout the day might not be abundant (options: anti-bacterial towels )
- Free walks around the archeological complexes without the staff supervision will be entirely up to each individual.
- Smokers make sure you buy enough cigarettes as it will no be possible to buy any on the way.
